March 20, 2008 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #7 Item Title C-6 Consultant Services for Melissa Forney for writing training for first and second grade teachers at Fleming Island, Thunderbolt and R. M. Patterson Elementary Schools on April 16 and 17, 2008 Issue/Rationale Melissa Forney will provide writing training to teachers at R. M. Paterson Elementary, Thunderbolt Elementary and Fleming Island Elementary Schools on April 16 and 17, 2008. Recommended Action Approve the consultant services as presented. Financial Impact Total cost is $6000.  $4,000 of the cost will be paid from a teacher training trust fund set up after R. M. Paterson Elementary School received a $5000 training donation.  The remaining cost will be paid from the inservice funds at Thunderbolt Elementary ($1000) and R. M.
